From Monday, January 12 to Sunday, February 8, 2026, Le Bistro restaurant invites guests to enjoy a special promotional offer: Esplanade’s famous štrukli at a price of just €11 per portion.
January and February are the perfect months to slow down and indulge in warm, familiar flavours that comfort both body and soul. In the charming ambience of Le Bistro — where Parisian chic meets understated elegance — štrukli become more than just a dish. They are a small ritual of pleasure, best enjoyed with loved ones, accompanied by the aromas of home-style cooking and Esplanade’s signature service infused with warmth, charm and positive energy.
Esplanade štrukli have held cult status for decades. They are handmade daily using carefully selected fresh ingredients, following a recipe nurtured in Esplanade’s kitchens for more than half a century. The dough is kneaded and stretched until almost transparent, filled with fresh cottage cheese, delicately shaped, steamed, and finally baked in rich cream until golden perfection. The result is an irresistible texture — soft, creamy and lightly crisp on top — and a full, well-rounded flavour that keeps guests coming back time and time again.
Each portion includes two baked štrukli, which can be enjoyed as a starter, main course or dessert — savoury or sweet, with a pinch of salt or a touch of sugar, according to personal preference. Complete the experience with a glass of fine wine or sparkling wine. Every bite is a celebration of tradition, attention to detail and a passion for exceptional comfort food.
This traditional specialty from the Zagorje region has been part of Esplanade’s culinary heritage since 1951, when it was first served as an authentic representative of regional cuisine at gala events and prestigious occasions.
