Esplanade Zagreb Hotel Awarded MICHELIN Key for 2025
In the 2025 edition of the MICHELIN Guide, released in celebration of its 125th anniversary, MICHELIN has, for the first time, introduced the global MICHELIN Key standard for hotels around the world. Among the 2,457 hotels worldwide that received the MICHELIN Key, ten are located in Croatia — and the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel is proudly one of them.
The MICHELIN Key recognition is awarded based on five key criteria:
• Excellence in architecture and interior design
• Quality and consistency of service
• Personality and character of the hotel
• Value for money
• Contribution to the local community
This recognition is yet another testament to the hotel’s continuous investment in quality, outstanding service, and the authentic experience it has been offering guests for over a century. The awarding of the MICHELIN Key further affirms the strength of Croatia’s tourism offering and places the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel among the globally recognized hotels that provide a truly authentic and unforgettable stay.
