Once again, Hotel Esplanade presents the most romantic Valentine’s Day celebration in the city. On Saturday, 14 February 2026, guests are invited to a five-course gala dinner at Zinfandel’s Restaurant, set in a romantic red-lit ambience, complete with a welcome glass of sparkling wine, flickering candlelight and live piano music.

For this special occasion, Esplanade’s Executive Chef Ana Grgić Tomić has created a divine menu designed to elevate the celebration of love. The evening begins with a welcome glass of sparkling wine and a selection of freshly baked homemade bread with citrus butter, followed by refined dishes such as Oscietra caviar with cauliflower panna cotta and a buckwheat waffle with saffron aioli. Guests will then enjoy scallops with shellfish bisque and a yoghurt and lime snow, followed by porcini gnudi with truffles and hazelnut crumble that melts in the mouth. For the main course, Chef Ana presents a confit of young lamb with black lentil crêpe, anise sauce and crispy Jerusalem artichokes. The evening concludes with a dessert that perfectly crowns the experience — raspberry meringue with almond and ricotta sponge cake, coconut pearls and white chocolate.

A Romantic Escape for Two

For those wishing to turn Valentine’s Day into a romantic city break and add a touch of indulgence to everyday life, Esplanade offers a Valentine’s Package for Two. The package includes one overnight stay in a spacious Deluxe Room, where guests will be welcomed with red roses, chilled sparkling wine and a carefully designed heart-shaped dessert. A Valentine’s dinner for two at Zinfandel’s Restaurant serves as the perfect prelude to a passionate night, while the following morning begins with a delicious breakfast served either in the privacy of your room or in the fairy-tale setting of Zinfandel’s. The Valentine’s Package also includes high-speed Wi-Fi and complimentary access to the Health Club, including use of the fitness centre and sauna. For those who prefer daytime dates and relaxed moments together, a special Valentine’s edition of afternoon tea named Love Birds will be served throughout February at Esplanade 1925 Lounge & Cocktail Bar. Ideal for long winter conversations and tender moments spent sharing a selection of sweet and savoury treats presented on elegant tiered stands, accompanied by premium teas. Highlights include Pag cheese panna cotta with beetroot jelly and prosciutto crumble, goose liver mousse with carrot and almond sponge, smoked salmon tartare with cream and citrus, vanilla and cranberry choux pastry, coconut bites, milk chocolate spheres, chocolate tart with raspberry curd and dark chocolate namelaka, just some of the delicacies designed to awaken the senses.
