Having a girl’s day has never been more fun! In October paint your encounters pink with the Esplanade’s unmissable chic ritual. Support the initiative with a humanitarian message, throw together a pink outfit, and bring a friend to the Esplanade 1925 Lounge & Cocktail Bar. In what is becoming tradition, in cooperation with the non-profit association P.I.N.K. life, the iconic Esplanade Hotel marks the Pink Ribbon Month global initiative with a humanitarian story you, too, can take part in. Namely, the entire month of October at the Esplanade Hotel is dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of breast cancer prevention and the fight against this vicious disease, which is why the popular Afternoon Tea has been donned in pink. The Esplanade’s multiple award-winning Executive Chef Ana Grgić Tomić and pastry chef Mirjana Špoljar have joined their female forces and for this occasion designed tempting snacks and pink desserts that are conveniently served on a tiered stand with premium Ronnefeldt tea in a teapot. From each amount, the hotel will set aside 10%, and the money will be donated at the end of the month to the association. Additionally, to announce this event and its support for the global initiative, the façade of the Esplanade Hotel will be illuminated in pink shades from 4^th – 8^th October.

From 2^nd to 31^st October, wear pink, take a female friend or a loved one to the chic environment of the Esplanade Lounge & Cocktail Bar or the Oleander Terrace and do the right thing – encourage yourself, your mother, girlfriend, female colleague, but also all women, to think about the most important thing – their health. In the month when this malignant disease is most talked about, it is necessary to emphasize that breast cancer is a disease that is a reality for millions of women and their families every day. Raising awareness and focusing on prevention through self-monitoring, ultrasound, and mammography is what you can do to save your life or someone else’s.

A symphony of pink snacks and treats

This October, delicious pink-edition snacks await you, such as a crispy basket filled with curd and red beet mousse, kulen salami and herb croquettes, as well as marinated salmon with homemade bread with dill cream and pickled mustard in red beet. They are followed by sweet snacks in the form of ruby cubes with mascarpone and raspberry cream, pink macarons with white chocolate cream and rose water, and red velvet cake with ricotta and hibiscus cream, as well as rosehip, vanilla, and white chocolate panna cotta.
