New Year’s Eve in the grand Emerald Ballroom and the elegant Zinfandel’s is planned down to the smallest detail, with a great party guaranteed. From the red carpet, premium welcome bubbly with delicious snacks, an elegant six-course gourmet dinner, all the way to a musical programme with lots of dancing and joy – nothing is left to chance at Esplanade.

The selection of dishes is entrusted to the experienced Ana Grgić Tomić, famous Croatian awarded Chef, who with her team will prepare a selection of the finest delicacies for New Year’s Eve, such as lamb tartare with Pag cheese gel and olive powder, lobster with Oscietra Caviar, crispy kataifi and citrus fruit aioli, scampi with Jerusalem artichoke and fried hazelnut foam, foie gras with homemade brioche, port sauce and pear marmalade, Sorbeto, beef cheeks with black trumpet ragout, truffles and shallot marmalade, Madeline with dark chocolate, pistachio ganache and pearls with peppered raspberry – these are only a part of the New Year’s gala menu. In addition, at midnight count down to the new year with sparkling wine and a deliciously comforting wine stew.

This year, an excellent show band Vizija is preparing a spectacular combination of top music and performances with the addition of light effects and other surprises. An ideal combination of classics, jazz numbers, waltzes, a magnificent atmosphere, top service, and irresistible delicacies will surely make this celebration the best in town.

And if you would like to take a break from dancing, the Esplanade has prepared its Piano & Cognac Lounge, furnished with comfortable sofas and a bar – perfect to relax in with some premium cognac and cigars, to the beat of light piano music.

While you are having a good time, a super-cheerful team of animators under expert guidance will usher your little ones into the new year at the children’s disco party, with games and dancing. Your youngest ones can expect a specially decorated space, having fun with their peers, games, music for dancing, and an abundance of surprises. And when the little ones get tired of playing and dancing, they will also have a cool place to relax and sleep.

The price of the reception with the evening program is 290 € ∙ 2185 HRK per person and includes welcome sparkling wine with delicious snacks, a six-course gala dinner, unlimited consumption of selected wines, sparkling wine at midnight, replenishing stew, and special props for the celebration.

The reception price for children (aged 4-10 years) is 155 € ∙ 1167,84 HRK per child and includes a sumptuous buffet menu, children’s sparkling wine at midnight, and unlimited consumption of juices and water. The offer is available for parents staying at the hotel or planning to attend a New Year’s Eve reception on one of the hotel’s premises.

The price of accommodation depends on the room category on the day of stay.

The New Year’s package with one overnight stay in the Superior Room is 789 € ∙ 5944,72 HRK for two people with New Year’s Eve dinner at Zinfandel’s or at the Emerald Ballroom. The package is subject to availability on 31 December 2023. It is possible to upgrade your room category (Deluxe, Junior, Deluxe Suite, and Esplanade Suite) or add an extra night in the hotel at an additional charge. The price includes VAT. Tourist tax in the amount of €1.59 per person per day is not included in the package price.
